Properly sealing the joints between each EPS Cement Sandwich Wall Panel is the final critical step to make sure your wall stays airtight, waterproof and high-performance for decades. First, before you fit two panels together, apply a continuous 3mm thick bead of specialized polymer adhesive along the entire tongue-and-groove edge of the first EPS Cement Sandwich Wall Panel. Push the two panels firmly together until the adhesive squeezes out slightly along the joint line, then wipe away the excess adhesive with a trowel before it dries. Once the adhesive is fully cured, apply a layer of flexible fiberglass mesh tape over the joint, pressing it firmly into a thin layer of base cement coating. After that, apply a final thin skim coat of finishing mortar over the tape, smoothing it out until it is completely flush with the panel surface. For exterior walls, add a line of waterproof sealant along the outside of the joint after the finishing coat is dry, to block any rainwater from seeping into the gap.
