Even though the EPS cement sandwich wall panel is widely used across the world, there are still several common misconceptions that prevent some builders from adopting this excellent material. The first and most widespread myth is that an EPS cement sandwich wall panel is not strong enough to support heavy loads. In reality, a standard 120mm EPS cement sandwich wall panel can bear a distributed load of over 200kg per square meter, which is more than enough to hang kitchen cabinets, water heaters and large decorative paintings. 

The second misconception is that the EPS core inside an EPS cement sandwich wall panel is flammable and poses a fire risk. In fact, all qualified EPS cement sandwich wall panel products use flame-retardant EPS that has passed national fire safety tests, and the cement outer layer completely wraps the EPS core, making the whole wall reach Class A non-combustible level. The third wrong belief is that you cannot modify the surface of an EPS cement sandwich wall panel. On the contrary, an EPS cement sandwich wall panel can be tiled, wallpapered, painted or even mounted with marble finishes, with no special treatment required beyond standard wall preparation. 

Many builders who once held these misconceptions have now switched to using an EPS cement sandwich wall panel after real construction tests, and they have found that the material performs far better than their previous expectations.
